If you haven't already seen it, here's the link to my original TikTok which explains a little bit about the birth of this project. Also, Pentex, my collaborative partner on this project, has made a more in depth breakdown video on YouTube about what we did and why, click here to watch that. But to make a long story short, I was surprised to hear that at the same time that I released my Obi-Wan fan edit, another one was released as well from Pentex Productions. Many people have been comparing our Obi-Wan cuts and that could have easily made us enemies, but we decided to join forces and tackle a fan edit together.

We wanted to give back to the Star Wars community after both of us received many requests to re-edit The Book of Boba Fett. We are very excited to be able to share this fan edit with those who have a Disney Plus membership!

The main idea behind this project was to see the Boba Fett show in chronological order. So we decided to split the show into 2 separate movies. I took on the first part and Pentex took on the second. Part 1 is called "Boba Fett - Book I: Without A Tribe" and it starts with a prologue from Return of the Jedi and from there it intercuts scenes from The Book of Boba Fett and both seasons of The Mandalorian. At its core, it's a movie about a group of individuals each in their own way finding themselves and building their own tribe. Part 2 is called "Boba Fett - Book II: The Name of Honor" and picking up where Part 1 leaves off, this movie is about our characters trying to do the right thing in a lawless world.

This is all done as fans, for the fans, and we are not making any money from it. We really hope you enjoy these two movies.

We do not own any of the material as this is just a fan edit. DO NOT watch or download this movie if you haven't paid for a Disney Plus subscription. Let’s make sure we’re supporting all the original artists of these shows by not letting this become a means of pirating. Owning a Disney Plus subscription will give you access to Return of the Jedi and all the episodes of The Book of Boba Fett and The Mandalorian that have been repurposed for this fan edit. By clicking the links below and watching these movies you are confirming that you have a Disney Plus subscription and can access all the content legally.

Do not share these links publicly, so we can do our best to keep this edit out of the hands of movie pirates! Let’s use the Force for good, not evil! Remember, this is for Disney Plus subscribers ONLY!

Q: Is there a 4K HDR Version?

A: Unfortunately 1080p is the highest quality we're able to provide.

Q: Are there subtitles?

A: Yes! On the watch pages for each movie you will see the downloads to SRT files in various languages.

Q: Why is there so much Mando?

A: As you'll see in both parts of our movies, the Mandalorian is integral to Boba Fett's story. Their paths are intertwined so much that it wouldn't make sense to cut him out completely. I think it's really exciting to get to see their timelines edited together.

Q: Why did you guys desaturate the Mods' Speeder Bikes?

A: Look, we're all for having more color in Star Wars. but for some reason those bikes were just a huge distraction to us personally, no hate to anyone who really liked them.

Q: Did you fix Luke Skywalker from the end of Mandalorian Season 2?

A: Yes! When the end of Season 2 came out, a YouTuber called Shamook posted a video fixing Luke Skywalker's face using deep fake technology. You can see the original video here. I used this version of Luke for the end of "Book I: Without A Tribe" to fit better with Luke's appearance in "Book II: The Name of Honor".

We're incredibly grateful for the Star Wars community and their enthusiasm for seeing our fan edits! Who knows what's next for us, but right now we're just so excited to hear your feedback.

Thank you,

Kai & Pentex
