Kai Patterson began testing out his skills in visual effects very early on when he realized that he could better translate his grand movie plots with the help of CGI. He was only 11 years old when he bought his own 3D software. He now uses programs such as Cinema 4D and Adobe After Effects to get the work done.
In college, Patterson was hired to animate a series of cartoons about Compound Interest, targeted at freshly graduated college students who feel lost when it comes to financials in the real world. Ever since then, he has taken on projects here and there that push his creativity in the art of 2D Animation.
Recently, Patterson has teamed up with Hannah Provisor, a talented illustrator and artist from New York City, to bring her visions to life. The animations have a child-like sense of wonder dashed through the colorful drawings.
